Created in the 1970s by Claude BURNEZ, former manager and father of the current CEO of PRUNIER, PRUNIER orange liqueur is aged for at least 6 months in oak barrels. A true "liquid delicacy", as our American customers call it, it can be enjoyed on its own or on ice, in cocktails, but will also be able to enhance your culinary ideas with a zest of fruity sweetness.
Colour: Very shiny golden bronze.
Nose: Very supple approach with first aromas of candied orange peel, clementine, a touch of vanilla/fresh hazelnut.
Second nose, orange marmalade (English style), toffee with a cocoa note, orange blossom, mint note and pomelos.
Very balanced nose, powerful in finesse and density of aromas first based on citrus fruits.
Palate: Clean and fine attack on the palate. Power of macerated orange (rind) combined with vanilla from Madagascar and a touch of blond tobacco. Spicy finish (cinnamon). Beautiful length in purity and sharpness.
Very nice liqueur, perfectly balanced nose/palate and despite a large volume of sugar, retains a rather surprising purity of mouth.
