The Blanc de Gris 2015 vintage by Erick Schreiber is a surprising champagne, with intense and slightly iodized aromas.
Champagne Blanc de Gris, it is made from an extremely rare blend of Pinot Blanc (58.5%) and Pinot Gris (41.5%). Vintage 2015, it is the result of the selection of the best juices from these two grape varieties during pressing.
Made without added sulfur and from vines grown Biodynamically, this vintage has benefited from a slow maturation of 6 years in the cellar and a partial passage in barrel (42%) before being offered to you for tasting.
Its sugar dosage (5.23g/l) allows Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc to fully express all their potential. From the marriage of these two rare grape varieties in Champagne, a wine of beautiful aromatic complexity is born which will surprise you with its blossoming fruity nose with accents of rhubarb, dried apricots and almond paste.
On the palate, it reveals a fleshy and full attack, with intense and slightly iodized aromas.
Excellent as an aperitif, this Blanc de Gris goes wonderfully with shellfish and all dishes prepared with seafood.
A great, unique champagne!
