TERROIR Clay-siliceous hillsides located west of Chinon, it comes from our vines grouped around the family home of Saint Louans. This terroir has been passed down from generation to generation since the 15th century by Bertrand's maternal family.
According to legend, Saint Louans healed the sick with a glass of wine.
VINIFICATION Manual and mechanical harvesting. Harvest at full maturity. Total destemming, sorting table. Fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
BREEDING
Aging in vats until bottling. Traditional cork stopper.
SERVICE Between 15° and 17°C
BOTTLING April following the harvest.
AGING POTENTIAL 7 to 20 years
Already brings a lot of pleasure in its youth, but will gain in complexity with the years.

This wine has a deep purple color, we find an alliance between aromatic complexity and a silky tannic presence.
