Mas Delmas amber rum is a sweet Catalan wine from the Pyrénées-Orientales aged in rum barrels. Mercedes and Pierre-André Delmas produce a Rivesaltes Ambré labeled organic and biodynamic: a gray Grenache wine aged 5 years in oak barrels.

 

The 2015 cuvée was produced in limited quantities, and part of it spent an additional 12 months in barrels that had contained a 12-year-old Panama rum. This gave birth to this amber rum where the balance between wine and rum is incredibly successful.
