La Belle Histoire Côtes Du Roussillon 2022

La Belle Histoire Côtes Du Roussillon 2020
Natural WINE

GRAPES: Grenache and Mourvèdre.

The qualitative will imposes on us yields of less than 30 hectoliters per hectare.
The vines have an average age of 20 to 35 years.

Production available: 5,000 bottles for this first new cuvée (currently 2022).

At an altitude of 100 to 200 meters, the clay-limestone hillsides with a schistous subsoil are facing due south and take full advantage of the benefits of the sun and the Tramontane. This terroir brings a very nice finesse, minerality and a spicy finish.

A selective and rigorous sorting is carried out during the early manual harvest to obtain a supple, fresh and light wine. The fresh bunches are destemmed. For the Grenache and the Mourvèdre, this is followed by vatting for 15 days with daily pumping over of the wine in order to obtain maximum extraction of the fruitiness. The assembly of this wine can then be done.

The brilliant garnet color of this wine gives a real pleasure to serve it as an aperitif or at the table.
This wine should be at room temperature (18°C) and it can also be served chilled (15°C) for summer grilling.
In its aromas, you will find the scrubland that surrounds the vineyard. Spices and white pepper will also be added. The aromas of red fruits (blackberry, strawberry and blackcurrant) are very present.
